» The Conference of INGOs Committee on Migration Issues is organising a series of three webinars with English/French simultaneous interpretation on Education and migration issues as follows:
- Access to education for migrants: issues and challenges – Thursday 24 October 2024 (from 5 pm to 7 pm CET)
The aim of this event will be to study, based on concrete situations, ways to allow migrants to have access to education. The following aspects will be covered:
– the reception of children and students: contact, material conditions including accommodation (which appears to be one of the keys to success), etc.
– the training content,
– the various actors, mainly teachers/trainers,
– raising awareness among local populations,
– the recommendations already made and those to be recommended.

During which the various aspects of the challenge of welcoming students involved in university education or vocational training will be discussed. »
